Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, direct patient care as a Licensed Nursing Assistant to support comfort and recovery
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs, intake/output, and changes in patient condition
• Communicate observations and concerns clearly with the nursing team to support safe care decisions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for patients at all times
• Support admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers with attention to detail and teamwork

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification valid for Vermont or New Hampshire (required)
• Demonstrated ability to work overnight shifts and provide dependable, patient-centered care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements such as background checks and health screenings

Education

• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant program and current LNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Understanding of infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Comfortable with clear, professional documentation and communication
• Team-focused mindset and ability to prioritize patient safety
