Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients as a licensed practical nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately, following facility protocols
• Perform patient assessments and report changes in condition promptly to the care team
• Document patient care clearly and thoroughly in the medical record
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Support patient and family education, ensuring understanding of care plans and discharge instructions
• Contribute to a safe, respectful environment and follow infection control and safety policies
• Support continuity of care while working every other weekend as part of the assigned schedule

Qualifications

• Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in good standing (T-LPN applicable where noted)
• Active clinical experience as an LPN preferred; travel experience a plus
• Ability to work the assigned schedule including every-other-weekend rotation
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Ability to pass background check and required facility screenings
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent vocational nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Patient assessment and recognizing changes in clinical status
• Clear, accurate charting and documentation practices
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
• Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
