Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as an LPN in a skilled setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
• Monitor and report patient status changes to the care team promptly
• Assist with daily living activities while promoting dignity and independence
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to support care plans
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow facility policies

Qualifications

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license - North Carolina license preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtained upon start
• Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous LPN experience preferred but new grads from accredited programs considered

Education

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited Practical Nursing / Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation practices
• Basic patient assessment and wound care skills
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and standard nursing charts
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work collaboratively under pressure
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy skills
