Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs and report important changes to nursing staff
• Assist nursing team with ADLs and promote patient comfort and dignity
• Support safe transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate clearly during shift handoffs
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents and families

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active state CNA license in good standing for Pennsylvania
• Recent clinical experience as a CNA preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Clear background check and TB screening as required by facility

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and observation skills with attention to detail
• Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes to the team
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize during busy shifts
• Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
