Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality respiratory care for neonatal patients in the NICU, including assessment and intervention
- Manage and monitor ventilators and respiratory support equipment with careful troubleshooting
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and support per NRP guidelines
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurses, and the multidisciplinary NICU team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of respiratory interventions and patient responses
- Participate in competency validation, skills checklists, and unit education to continuously improve care
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapist license with License/Certificate Verification required
- BLS and ACLS required
- NRP required and demonstrated proficiency in neonatal resuscitation
- NICU experience required
- Ability to pass Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Must meet pre-employment health requirements including fit test, immunizations, and drug screen
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven NICU respiratory care skills and familiarity with neonatal ventilators
- Neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and advanced life support (ACLS, BLS)
- Strong clinical assessment and monitoring abilities
- Comfort with Trinity competency testing and skills documentation
- Clear communication and teamwork in high-acuity settings
- Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance awareness
