Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Weekday on-call: Monday-Friday, 5:15 PM - 7:00 AM (overnight/night on-call). Every 4th weekend: Friday 7:00 AM - Sunday 7:00 AM (weekend coverage). Rotating on-call schedule (combines day and night responsibilities); traveler must remain within 30 minutes of the hospital.
Candidate Pay Rate: $68 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative team members to ensure smooth cases
- Maintain sterile technique, manage the sterile field, and handle instrumentation with precision
- Respond promptly and effectively when on-call to support emergency and scheduled cases
- Complete accurate documentation and verify patient information and procedures
- Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and maintain required skills and certifications
Qualifications
- Active RN license (license verification required)
- BLS certification required
- Experience in Operating Room / Perioperative Nursing preferred
- Comfort with on-call responsibilities including weekday overnights and periodic weekend coverage
- Willingness to complete facility-specific competency testing and health requirements (drug screen, immunizations, fit test)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong perioperative and operating room nursing practices
- Proficiency with sterile technique and instrumentation
- Ability to triage and respond during on-call emergencies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in high-pressure environments
- Familiarity with documentation standards and specialty competency assessments
