Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends and holiday coverage; schedule varies by assignment and may include evening and night shifts. Specific start/end times will be provided upon scheduling.
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to adult patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies safely and accurately
- Monitor patient condition, recognize changes, and escalate concerns promptly
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Document patient care and outcomes clearly and thoroughly in the EHR
- Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and skills checklists
- Adhere to infection control practices and maintain required immunizations and screenings
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Iowa (or compact license where applicable)
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Must meet personal health requirements: fit test, Trinity 10 panel drug screen, required vaccines and TB screen as listed
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing diploma; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy competence
- Familiarity with medical-surgical protocols and standards of care
- Comfortable using electronic health record systems and accurate documentation
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and the ability to respond quickly to patient needs
