Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and care
• Assist physicians during EP and cath lab cases, anticipating needs and optimizing workflow
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging, monitoring, and catheterization equipment
• Maintain a sterile field and enforce infection control to ensure patient safety
• Monitor patient hemodynamics and respond promptly to changes
• Document procedures, implants, and patient data accurately in the medical record
• Participate in the on-call rotation for nights and weekends as scheduled
• Complete required competency checklists and testing to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• RCIS certification required
• BLS and ACLS required
• EP experience highly preferred
• Current license/certification verification required
• Ability to pass Trinity 10-panel drug screen, respirator evaluation/fit test, and required immunizations

• Proven knowledge of cath lab procedures and instrumentation
• Familiarity with electrophysiology fundamentals and EP case workflow
• Competence in fluoroscopy, radiation safety, and imaging equipment
• Strong sterile technique and infection control practices
• Skill in patient monitoring, hemodynamic interpretation, and urgent response
• Comfortable with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and situational awareness in fast-paced environments
