Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear cardiology imaging studies accurately and efficiently to support diagnostic decision-making
• Operate Philips Cardio MD equipment with confidence and follow established cardiology imaging protocols
• Provide compassionate patient care: prepare patients, explain procedures, and ensure safety throughout imaging
• Document procedures and patient data in Epic clearly and promptly to maintain continuity of care
• Maintain radiation safety standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Participate in Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Required: CNMT certification
• Required: RT (R) credential and BLS certification
• Required: Proven experience with Philips Cardio MD (Cardiology imaging experience)
• Required: Familiarity with Epic EHR
• License/Certificate Verification required prior to start
• Required: COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, and fit test clearance
• Strong patient communication skills and ability to work Monday-Friday daytime schedule

Education

• Preferred: Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program
• Associate degree or certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nuclear medicine and cardiology imaging procedures and protocols
• Hands-on experience operating Philips Cardio MD systems
• Proficiency documenting exams and workflows in Epic
• Radiation safety principles and best practices
• Patient positioning, IV handling, and vital sign monitoring
• Ability to follow infection control and hospital policies reliably
