Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate residents' functional abilities and needs to develop personalized OT plans
- Design and implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living and independence
- Document progress clearly and timely to meet facility and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy teammates, and families to coordinate care
- Educate residents and caregivers on strategies, adaptive equipment, and safety
- Maintain productivity standards and follow CRG policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of occupational therapy experience (job posted requires 1-3 years)
- Active Occupational Therapy license (ability to obtain New Mexico license required)
- Demonstrated SNF or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- Comfort with productivity expectations (facility lists a 90% productivity requirement)
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress code (black scrubs required)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a therapy team
Education
- Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT/OTR) or related field preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in OT evaluation, ADL training, and therapeutic activity planning
- Familiarity with SNF documentation, care planning, and regulatory reporting
- Ability to meet productivity targets while delivering patient-centered care
- Good time management and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively
- Team-oriented approach and strong interpersonal communication skills
