Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Day shift), no weekends or holidays for ECT service
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients with acute psychiatric needs using best-practice social work interventions
- Prepare and support patients before and after ECT procedures, ensuring safety and clear communication
- Provide crisis intervention and coordinate care across inpatient behavioral health, psych consult service, and ED
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment and discharge plans
- Document thorough, timely clinical notes and risk assessments that guide patient care
- Engage patients and families in education, resource linkage, and follow-up planning to support recovery
Qualifications
- MSW required
- LCSW preferred
- Acute psychiatric experience required
- Experience with or willingness to support ECT service preferred
- Comfort floating to adult inpatient behavioral health, psychiatric consult service, and/or ED as needed
- Ability to work the posted schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Education
- MSW (Master of Social Work) required; LCSW preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of acute behavioral health assessment and crisis intervention
- Familiarity with ECT workflow and patient preparation/support
- Skilled care coordination and discharge planning in inpatient and emergency settings
- Excellent clinical documentation and communication skills
- Team-oriented approach and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary providers
