Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based cardiopulmonary assessment and treatment for patients across the lifespan
- Manage ventilators, airway devices, and respiratory equipment with precision and clinical judgment
- Deliver neonatal and pediatric respiratory care when required, using specialized protocols
- Respond swiftly to codes and respiratory emergencies as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Perform diagnostic testing and document results clearly to support treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care plans and equipment use
Qualifications
- Current registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT) — required
- Current Oregon Respiratory Care License — required
- Healthcare Provider BLS — required
- ACLS, NRP and PALS required for GSR Respiratory Therapy assignments
- Two (2) years clinical respiratory care experience preferred
- Experience with neonates and pediatrics preferred
Education
- Current NBRC-RRT registration (required)
- Oregon Respiratory Care License (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of cardiopulmonary physiology and respiratory care techniques
- Proficiency with ventilator management, airway care, and respiratory diagnostics
- Ability to work independently on night shift and communicate clearly with day teams
- Comfort managing neonatal and pediatric respiratory needs (preferred)
- Excellent critical thinking, documentation, and emergency response skills
