Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day shifts, Monday-Friday (rotating schedule) with start times 6:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM or 9:30 AM; corresponding 8-hour end times 2:00 PM, 3:30 PM, 4:00 PM or 5:30 PM. 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week. On-call required.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine studies, including PET-CT scans, to support accurate diagnoses
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals following safety and regulatory guidelines
- Operate imaging equipment and optimize protocols for best diagnostic results
- Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication before, during, and after procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical teams to ensure timely imaging services
- Maintain equipment, complete quality control checks, and troubleshoot routine technical issues
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergent imaging needs
Qualifications
- Current ARRT RT(N) or NMTCB CNMT registry credential required
- Current unencumbered Oregon Nuclear Medicine license required upon submission
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
- Experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and flexible rotating schedules
- Experience with PET-CT imaging strongly preferred
Education
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent training
- Registry credential (ARRT RT(N) or NMTCB CNMT) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on experience operating PET-CT and general nuclear medicine imaging equipment
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical handling, dosing, and safe disposal procedures
- Strong radiation safety practices and adherence to regulatory standards
- Familiarity with PACS, DICOM, and basic image post-processing
- Excellent patient positioning and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary hospital teams
