Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams that support accurate, timely patient care
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication to put patients at ease
• Rotate across the main campus and walk-in care sites as needed to ensure coverage and continuity
• Assist with patient registration and clerical support when required to keep the clinics running smoothly
• Operate CT, fluoroscopy, portable units, C-arm and bone density equipment where trained and appropriate
• Maintain image quality, follow imaging protocols, and ensure radiation safety standards are met
• Participate in weekend and on-call rotations to support urgent imaging needs

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered (required)
• Maine RT Licensure (required)
• BLS Certification (required)
• 2+ years of solid hospital experience (preferred)
• CT, Bone Density, Fluoroscopy, C-Arm and Portable Radiology experience preferred
• Willingness to work across multiple sites and cover varied shifts, including weekends and on-call

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and imaging protocols
• Comfortable operating CT, fluoroscopy, C-arm and portable imaging when trained
• Proficiency with PACS and basic image quality assessment
• Excellent patient communication and customer-service mindset
• Ability to multitask: clinical imaging, registrations and light clerical duties
• Commitment to radiation safety, infection control and institutional policies
