Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality dosimetry coverage to ensure uninterrupted patient care
- Create and review treatment plans across 3D, IMRT/VMAT, and SBRT modalities
- Perform image import, registration, and contouring support as needed
- Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists and physics partners to optimize plans
- Use Eclipse and ARIA to deliver timely, accurate treatment plans and documentation
- Leverage RadFormation tools (ClearCheck, AutoContour) to streamline QA and checks
- Support SRS program activities and Brainlab workflows as the program grows
- Maintain clear communication to prevent delays in patient treatment delivery
Qualifications
- Experienced medical dosimetrist with a track record of reliable coverage
- Proficient with Eclipse TPS, ARIA OIS, and Varian TrueBeam workflows (required)
- RadFormation experience and SBRT planning experience strongly preferred
- CMD certification preferred but not required
- Brainlab/SRS experience is a plus
- Comfortable working in a busy community cancer center and able to start quickly
- State license not required for this assignment
Education
- Completion of an accredited Medical Dosimetry program or related Radiologic Technology degree preferred
- CMD certification preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong dosimetry and treatment planning knowledge (3D, IMRT, VMAT, SBRT)
- Hands-on experience with Eclipse, ARIA, and Varian TrueBeam systems
- Familiarity with RadFormation suite (ClearCheck, AutoContour) and QA workflows
- Image import/registration and contouring skills
- Solid communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with oncology and physics teams
- Ability to prioritize and deliver plans on time to avoid treatment delays
- Comfort with remote planning workflows and secure documentation practices
