Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients using evidence-based assessment to identify mobility and functional goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting sports, orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and stroke rehabilitation as appropriate
• Provide hands-on and therapeutic interventions to restore function, reduce pain, and improve independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs, fall prevention, and long-term recovery strategies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care across outpatient and acute settings
• Document clinical findings, progress, and discharge plans clearly and timely
• Travel between outpatient sites as needed to deliver consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license (required)
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification (required)
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred, including sports and orthopedic rehab
• Comfortable treating a broad outpatient caseload including pediatric, neurological, stroke, balance and dizziness, and wheelchair seating needs
• Ability to reliably travel between multiple points of care during the workweek
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited program preferred
• Master's or Bachelor's in Physical Therapy may be considered depending on state requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Outpatient Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation principles
• Sports Rehabilitation and Orthopedic rehab techniques
• Pediatric rehab approaches and family education
• Neurological and Stroke rehab strategies
• Balance and Dizziness rehabilitation and fall prevention
• Wheelchair seating assessments and neck/back/extremity care
• Ability to manage a diverse outpatient caseload with adaptability and clinical reasoning
