Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document clinical findings accurately
- Assist ENT providers with in-clinic procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Communicate test results and follow-up instructions to patients in a clear, compassionate way
- Manage prescription refills and medication-related tasks in coordination with providers
- Order and maintain medical supplies so the clinic runs smoothly
- Complete filing and basic administrative duties to support clinic workflow
- Use basic computer systems to update charts, schedule follow-ups, and track patient care
- Collaborate with the care team to promote positive patient experiences
Qualifications
- Active LPN license or eligible for LPN licensure in Montana
- Clinical experience in an outpatient clinic setting, ENT experience a plus
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent patient communication and organizational abilities
- Basic computer proficiency (electronic charting and scheduling systems)
- Willingness to assist providers with procedures and follow clinic protocols
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN / Practical Nurse program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessments and clinical evaluation
- Nursing procedures commonly used in outpatient and ENT clinics
- Assisting providers during procedures and patient visits
- Communicating test results and follow-up care to patients
- Medication refill processes and basic prescription management
- Inventory management and ordering supplies
- Basic electronic health record navigation and documentation
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
