Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (day shift; schedule varies and may include weekends)

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to long-term care residents
- Administer medications, treatments, and document care accurately and timely
- Participate in rapid response and crisis interventions as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor resident status, identify changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Educate residents and families about care, medications, and safety
- Support safe transitions of care and maintain clear clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Active AK Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Current BLS required
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Wound care basics and post-acute care familiarity
- Ability to perform focused assessments and prioritize care
- Effective teamwork, clear communication, and resident advocacy
- Comfort working in a smaller community hospital environment
