Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care in the electronic chart
• Perform resident assessments and report changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to create and follow individualized care plans
• Support safe transfers, mobility assistance, and ADL care with dignity and respect
• Educate residents and families about care plans and daily routines to promote engagement

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license for North Dakota (required)
• Experience or comfort working in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment preferred
• Cerner experience preferred for documentation and charting
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse / Vocational Nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic clinical procedures in long-term care
• Resident assessment and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, ideally Cerner
• Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams
• Time management, prioritization, and compassionate bedside manner
