Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality portable and departmental X-ray exams in the ED and radiology suite
- Operate and troubleshoot radiography equipment from vendors like GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu
- Accurately document exams in Epic and archive images in McKesson PACS
- Collaborate with radiologists onsite and remotely to ensure timely reads
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and maintain proper infection control
- Provide excellent patient care and clear communication during imaging procedures
- Participate in orientation and team handoffs to maintain continuity of care
Qualifications
- ARRT (R) registration - required
- WA State Department of Health imaging license in hand prior to start - required
- Radiation badge required (traveler's employer responsibility) - required
- BLS certification - required
- COVID vaccination - required
- Minimum 2 years radiologic technologist experience; larger, fast-paced hospital experience preferred
- Ability to work weekend shifts (Fri-Sun) and collaborate with multi-shift teams
- No employment with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities within the past year per facility policy
Education
- Completion of an accredited radiography program (Associate degree or equivalent)
- ARRT certification (Radiography) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in general X-ray and portable imaging techniques
- Experience with McKesson PACS and Epic electronic medical records
- Familiarity with GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu radiography equipment
- Strong patient positioning and imaging quality skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork in acute care settings
- Comfort working with minimal independent responsibilities during the shift
