Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality echocardiography studies and diagnostic imaging with care and precision
• Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
• Document findings accurately in Cerner and communicate results to the clinical team
• Collaborate with cardiology and allied health staff to support excellent patient outcomes
• Maintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, following safety and infection-control protocols
• Participate in orientation and handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant imaging experience as listed in the job posting
• BLS certification required
• License to submit: current state licensure or credential as required for submission
• 12 hours of orientation (provided) as noted in the assignment details
• Experience in echocardiography or cardiac imaging preferred

Education

• Completion of an accredited radiologic technology or diagnostic cardiac sonography program preferred
• Associate degree or relevant certificate in Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on echocardiography skills and familiarity with cardiac imaging protocols
• Proficiency with Cerner for charting and electronic documentation
• Strong patient communication and bedside manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Good time management and ability to handle a varied acute-care caseload
