Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied day shifts (10-hour). Start times vary by assignment: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM; 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM; 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM; or 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Guaranteed 40 hours/week. Holidays rotate with core staff. Day shift (call encouraged but not required).

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging using Siemens 64- and 128-slice CT scanners and portable systems
• Operate fluoroscopy and C-arm equipment safely and efficiently when needed
• Assess patients and prepare them for imaging procedures while promoting comfort and safety
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain proper use of radiation badges
• Document procedures accurately in Cerner and maintain clear, timely charting
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Support department flow by performing portable CXRs and assisting across CT, C-arms, X-ray, and Fluoro as needed
• Promote a positive patient experience through professional, friendly interactions

Qualifications

• BLS certification (required)
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications (verification required)
• California CRT license with Fluoroscopy permit (required)
• Minimum experience as listed: posting references both 2 years (listed) and 3-5 years noted for radiology — bring strong CT/X-ray experience
• Two supervisory references at submittal (one within 12 months and one within 3 years) with charge acceptance
• Must not have been employed by CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity facilities within the past year (PRN through outside firms is acceptable)

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; professional radiologic certification required (ARRT). BSN not required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced CT imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy
• Fluoroscopy and portable radiography proficiency
• Familiarity with Siemens CT platforms (Sensation 64, Edge 128) and common portable/C-arm systems
• Proficient with Cerner EMR for imaging documentation
• Strong patient assessment, communication, and infection control practices
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced acute care environment and promote teamwork
