Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Day (with 1-2 weeknight on-call shifts per week when scheduled: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; every 3rd weekend on call; every other holiday on call; 30-minute call response time)

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist during interventional radiology procedures, maintaining sterile technique
- Pan and scrub in 2 lab suites handling 5-10 cases per day on average
- Operate and support imaging equipment including Philips Xper (hemo) and Siemens C-Arm
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms, ensuring radiation safety and badge compliance
- Collaborate with interventionalists, nursing, and tech team to deliver timely care
- Respond to on-call activations within a 30-minute window and support emergent cases (e.g., stroke thrombectomy)
- Document procedures accurately in EPIC and maintain regulatory and departmental records
- Support pre/post radiology duties and float when needed within department scope
Qualifications
- Active ARRT registration (must be registered with NDMIRT) or equivalent (RCIS/CVT acceptable where noted)
- Current BLS required (ACLS may be required depending on unit notes)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant interventional radiology or scrub experience
- Demonstrated scrubbing experience in IR procedures
- Must supply and have radiation badge in hand prior to start
- Able to meet radius rule and time-off (RTO) requirements as specified by the facility
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; ARRT/NDMIRT certification required as noted
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with EPIC charting system
- Experience with Philips Xper (Hemo) and Siemens C-Arm imaging equipment
- Strong sterile technique and fluoroscopy safety knowledge
- Ability to handle inpatient, outpatient, and emergent cases including thrombectomy and embolizations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Comfortable with team lead/supervisor-driven workflows and timecard procedures
