Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts (specific times vary). Day shift coverage with 2 techs per room; night shift coverage with 1 tech and 1 RN onsite. Includes every 7th weekend and one night secondary on-call during the week.

Candidate Pay Rate: $91 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate for interventional radiology procedures, providing skilled intra-procedural support
• Assist with neurointerventional procedures (scrub and circulate) including thrombectomies and coilings
• Set up and manage single-plane and biplane imaging equipment (GE and Philips) and support the invasive CT scanner
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure procedural supplies and instruments are available and functioning
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interventional team to deliver safe, efficient patient care
• Document procedures accurately in the EMR (Cerner/Radnet) and maintain clear communication on patient status
• Participate in weekend rotations and the on-call schedule to support continuous patient coverage

Qualifications

• Previous Interventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate) — required
• Previous neurointerventional Radiology experience (scrub and circulate) — required
• BLS certification — required
• VI Registered (preferred)
• Vascular OR experience (preferred)
• Cath Lab experience (preferred)
• Flexible team player comfortable working day and night shifts and participating in weekend/on-call rotations

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with single-plane (GE) and biplane (Philips) imaging systems and procedural workflow
• Experience with interventional procedures: arteriograms, embolizations, TIPS, dialysis access, Y-90, mechanical thrombectomy, coilings
• Strong sterile technique, intraoperative instrument handling, and device knowledge
• Fluoroscopy safety and radiation-awareness practices
• Proficiency with Cerner (Radnet) documentation and effective clinical communication
• Ability to function in 1:1 patient care situations and adapt to fast-paced procedural environments
