Shift Type: Four 9-hour day shifts per week (specific days variable), 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM (Day shift), plus on-call rotation; holidays may be required

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, expert nursing care before, during, and after endoscopy and special procedures
- Prepare patients and procedure rooms, ensuring sterile technique and equipment readiness
- Monitor patient vital signs, sedation levels, and recovery progress with vigilance
- Collaborate closely with physicians and procedural teams to deliver safe, efficient care
- Respond promptly to on-call situations and emergency events when needed
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of procedures, medications, and patient status
- Educate patients and families about procedures, aftercare, and follow-up instructions
- Support quality improvement and infection control initiatives in the endoscopy suite
Qualifications
- Minimum five (5) years of nursing experience; endoscopy or special procedures experience preferred
- Active RN license (current) required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS/CLS certification required
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and work holidays as needed
- Comfortable working four 9-hour day shifts per week with variable scheduling
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of endoscopy and special procedures workflows and safety protocols
- Skilled in patient monitoring, sedation support, and recovery care
- Proficient in sterile technique, instrument handling, and documentation practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for fast-paced procedural environments
- Ability to remain calm and effective during emergencies and on-call situations
- Commitment to quality, patient safety, and continuous improvement
