Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care in outpatient clinic settings, ensuring safety and comfort
• Perform routine assessments, take vital signs, and track patient progress accurately
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing; assist with lab and EKG procedures as needed
• Administer medications and injections following clinic policies and provider orders
• Document thoroughly and timely in Epic EMR to maintain clear patient records
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions
• Float between two nearby sites to support clinic needs and maintain continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required upon submission
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Previous clinical experience preferred; pediatric experience preferred but not required
• Lab and EKG experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
• Professional, patient-centered communication and ability to work as part of a team

Education

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program and current LPN licensure in Oregon

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Epic EMR or able to quickly learn charting workflows
• Strong clinical assessment and infection control practices
• Comfortable performing EKGs and basic lab draws
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt when floating between sites
• Clear communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams
