Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patient flow by greeting patients, preparing rooms, and ensuring timely check-ins
• Obtain and record vital signs accurately to support clinical decision-making
• Prepare exam rooms and instruments to maintain a smooth outpatient workflow
• Document clinical information clearly and promptly to keep the care team informed
• Coordinate with nurses, providers, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
• Support basic clinical tasks and strengthen patient comfort and safety throughout visits
• Communicate effectively with patients and families to educate and set expectations

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant program completion documentation OR active Certified Nursing Assistant certification
• Prior outpatient or medical clinic experience preferred
• Ability to work independently while supporting clinical workflow
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a busy clinic
• Current certifications per class as required by the facility

Education

• MA program completion documentation OR active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs and basic clinical assessments
• Comfortable with room preparation and maintaining clinical supplies
• Able to document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently
• Good interpersonal skills for patient interaction and multidisciplinary teamwork
• Organizational ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced outpatient setting
