Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM Day (flexible start between 6:30 AM - 8:00 AM and end between 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM as needed); no weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures with precision and compassion to provide high-quality patient imaging
- Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols and state regulations
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality images and proper calibration
- Follow radiation safety practices and maintain required documentation for compliance with the Radiologic Health Branch
- Provide clear patient instruction and support to ensure comfort and understanding during procedures
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in the charting/EMR system
- Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Float to sister facilities as needed to support staffing and continuity of care
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology
- Certification by NMTCB or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine Technology (required)
- Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technology licensure (Radiologic Health Branch) required
- Current CPR certification required; BLS preferred
- CNMT credential is a plus
- Comfortable floating to nearby facilities as required
- First-time travel clinicians are welcome
Education
- Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiopharmaceutical handling
- Familiarity with imaging equipment operation and quality control
- Understanding of state radiation safety and reporting requirements
- Strong patient communication and customer-service skills
- Accurate charting and basic computer/EMR navigation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
