Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality vascular ultrasound exams including duplex and Doppler studies
- Conduct carotid, lower extremity arterial and venous, arterial graft, dialysis graft and stent evaluations
- Complete arterial mapping and aortic scans with precise technique
- Acquire and archive images using GE PACS, Philips, Siemens and SonoSite systems
- Document findings accurately in charting system and communicate critical results to the care team
- Assist physicians by providing clear, concise exam data and imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Maintain imaging equipment, participate in quality assurance and uphold infection control standards
- Flexibly support on-call and variable weekend coverage as required
Qualifications
- Vascular certification required (e.g., RVS/RVT or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year vascular ultrasound experience (1st timers with certification considered)
- Transcranial Doppler experience preferred
- Proficiency with GE PACS; experience with Philips, Siemens, SonoSite a plus
- BLS preferred; additional certifications such as CCI RVS or RDCS - RVT are a plus
- Ability to work day shifts with occasional weekends and on-call coverage
Education
- Vascular certification required
- Completion of an accredited vascular sonography program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Vascular ultrasound, duplex and Doppler studies
- Carotid, lower extremity arterial and venous examinations
- Arterial graft studies, arterial mapping and aortic imaging
- Dialysis graft and stent evaluation
- Color flow imaging and image optimization
- Clinical charting and documentation (any charting system)
- Comfortable using GE PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite imaging platforms
- Strong patient communication and teamwork skills
