Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures with precision and calm under pressure
• Monitor hemodynamics including Swan-Ganz/Pulmonary Artery lines and interpret dysrhythmias to guide safe patient care
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation and related medications, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Use Epic for timely, accurate charting and communicate essential clinical updates to the team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support (pharmacy, transport, rapid response) to deliver seamless patient care
• Provide 1:1 patient care during procedures and maintain high standards of sterile technique and equipment handling
• Float between Providence facilities as needed — adapt and bring your cath lab expertise where it’s most needed
• Participate in call coverage during weekdays and weekends as required by the assignment

Qualifications

• Current RN license (state of practice) required
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required (1YR/1ST TIMERS OK but Cath Lab experience is required)
• BLS required; ACLS and BLSS preferred
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart caths preferred
• Comfortable with Epic charting (Epic charting required)
• Must have reliable vehicle for assignment and be willing to float between facilities
• Travel experience not required but flexibility and adaptability are a must
• Available for on-call coverage weekdays and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Hemodynamic monitoring and Pulmonary Artery Line (Swan-Ganz) management
• Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Strong medication administration and titration knowledge in an interventional setting
• Effective use of Epic for documentation and handoffs
• Ability to function well in fast-paced acute care and respond to rapid response situations
