Shift Type: 4x10 day schedule, 07:30 AM - 06:00 PM (four 10-hour day shifts per week). Includes 3-4 weekend shifts per contract and on-call coverage required (weekdays and weekends). Day shift

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care in the Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
- Perform and assist with left and right heart catheterizations and interventional procedures
- Monitor and interpret dysrhythmias and manage procedural sedation effectively
- Administer medications and manage pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring when indicated
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including rapid response, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries
- Document care accurately in Epic and communicate changes in patient condition promptly
- Float to other units or facilities as needed to meet patient care needs, with appropriate notice and support
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Oregon) required
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab or related procedural nursing experience (1YR/1ST TIMERS OK)
- Epic charting experience required
- BLS required; ACLS and BLs preferred
- Comfort with conscious sedation monitoring and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
- Reliable vehicle required for travel/assignment and floating between facilities
- Ability to complete a 40-hour orientation and work collaboratively in a teaching hospital environment
Education
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
Knowledge & Skills
- Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab procedures
- Left and right heart catheterization skills
- Pulmonary artery line/Swan-Ganz monitoring
- Interpretation and management of cardiac dysrhythmias
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
- Medication administration for cath lab patients
- Strong documentation skills in Epic and effective interdisciplinary communication
- Flexibility to float and adapt to different unit workflows
