Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Day shift, no weekends or holidays for ECT service)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough psychosocial assessments and therapeutic interventions for patients receiving ECT
- Coordinate ECT service logistics and collaborate closely with psychiatry, nursing, and anesthesia teams
- Deliver crisis intervention and acute psychiatric support when needed
- Float to other behavioral health areas such as adult inpatient behavioral health, psych consult service, and the ED as required
- Document care clearly and communicate clinical updates with the treatment team and families
- Participate actively in treatment planning, discharge planning, and connecting patients to community resources
- Advocate for patients to ensure safe, evidence-based care and continuity after discharge
Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW) required
- LCSW preferred
- Acute psychiatric experience required
- Experience with ECT preferred
- Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM and float to other behavioral health areas as needed
Education
- Master of Social Work (MSW) required; LCSW preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills
- Familiarity with acute psychiatric care and ECT processes preferred
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary acute care settings
- Collaborative mindset and strong patient advocacy skills
