School Therapist - Elementary
Location: Pendleton, OR
Start Date: 12-04-2025
End Date: 06-15-2026
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, day shift (hours vary; candidate will be paid only for hours worked). Expected 40 hours/week. Follows school-year calendar (no pay for school holidays/closings).
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct therapeutic services to elementary students on your caseload
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress toward goals
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation as required by the district
- Communicate clearly and professionally with families about student progress
- Deliver therapy services without Medicaid billing or case management duties
Qualifications
- Active Oregon license required
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Demonstrated ability to manage an elementary caseload
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers and families
- Available to start ASAP and follow the school-year schedule
Education
- Relevant degree in a related field (required licensure in Oregon)
Knowledge & Skills
- Familiarity with school-based service delivery and IEP processes
- Skilled in student assessment, goal writing, and progress monitoring
- Comfortable working independently within a school environment
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies for young learners
- Organized documentation and time-management skills
