Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and design individualized outpatient treatment plans
• Provide hands-on direct patient care and progress patients toward goals
• Deliver timely evaluations and treatments for inpatients as needed (ER, acute care, PACU)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions of care
• Document assessments, plans, and progress thoroughly and on time
• Educate patients and families on home programs and injury prevention
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations when scheduled
• Support clinic operations across sites, including satellite outpatient locations

Qualifications

• Current Vermont Physical Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy; inpatient/acute care exposure is a plus
• Pelvic floor experience strongly preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Ability to travel between sites including satellite locations when needed

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor's or Master's in Physical Therapy accepted
• State licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient evaluation and creating measurable treatment plans
• Proficient in outpatient physical therapy modalities and manual techniques
• Comfortable treating in acute settings including ER and PACU when required
• Strong documentation and time-management skills
• Ability to instruct patients and caregivers in home exercise programs
• Familiarity with pelvic floor therapy techniques is a plus
