Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care for medical/surgical, spinal, neuro and trauma populations
• Assess patients, develop and implement individualized care plans, and adjust interventions as needed
• Document care accurately and efficiently in EPIC — documentation is required
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate complex care
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including trauma and gunshot wound cases
• Support patients and families through education, discharge planning and compassionate communication

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys license verification required)
• Minimum 2 years experience in specialty (medical/surgical, neuro or trauma)
• EPIC documentation experience — EPIC required
• Certification card and up-to-date clinical certifications as applicable (please upload to profile)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medical/Surgical nursing expertise
• Neuro and spinal cord injury care
• Trauma nursing and gunshot wound management
• Care for quadriplegia/paraplegia patients
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic documentation
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and emergency response skills
