Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care while following facility policies and protocols
• Respond to on-call requests promptly and professionally, prioritizing patient safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate effective care plans
• Document care and incidents accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and staff to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in unit huddles, quality initiatives, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Valid state license or certification as required for the clinical role (verify specific license for assignment)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS) preferred where applicable
• Previous experience in a hospital or acute-care setting is highly desirable
• Ability to work on-call shifts and respond reliably when scheduled
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-based environment

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and patient-management skills
• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems for documentation
• Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Professional bedside manner and clear communication with patients and colleagues
