Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services following physician referral and AOTA practice guidelines
• Assess, plan, implement and document therapeutic interventions to maximize patient function and independence
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and rehabilitation team members to coordinate safe, effective care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record in accordance with facility standards
• Support quality and safety initiatives and participate in interdisciplinary care planning
• Deliver care primarily in inpatient/swing-bed settings with occasional outpatient sessions

Qualifications

• Current OTR (Registered Occupational Therapist) credential required
• Active Montana state license (or ability to obtain) required prior to start
• Comfortable working in inpatient/swing-bed environments and collaborating across disciplines
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and strong documentation skills
• Professional, compassionate communication with patients, families and teammates

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master's or OTD preferred) and OTR credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of AOTA practice guidelines and evidence-based OT interventions
• Skilled in patient assessment, treatment planning and outcome documentation
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time effectively in a hospital setting
• Strong teamwork and communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Awareness of quality, safety and infection control practices in inpatient care
