Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and radiologic procedures accurately and efficiently
• Operate imaging equipment and, when needed, assist with CT procedures (CT capability is preferred)
• Produce high-quality images and documentation for timely interpretation by providers
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and explain procedures clearly to patients
• Maintain imaging equipment, adhere to infection control standards, and follow safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• Current and valid credentials in diagnostic medical sonography or radiologic technology (ARDMS, ARRT, or equivalent preferred)
• CT capability is preferred or experience in cross-sectional imaging a strong plus
• Current basic life support (BLS) certification as required by facility
• Ability to work reliably for a 36-hour weekly schedule and follow facility policies (including holiday pay rules)
• Strong communication and patient care skills, with attention to detail

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Radiologic Technology program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and PACS/image archiving systems
• Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
• Knowledge of radiation safety, infection control, and patient positioning
• Good clinical judgment, documentation skills, and teamwork mindset
