Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT procedures, including contrast studies, with precision and care
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment safely and competently to capture diagnostic images
- Prepare patients for imaging studies, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical teams to produce high-quality diagnostic results
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation and follow established protocols
- Uphold radiation safety standards and infection control practices at all times
Qualifications
- X-ray certification required
- CT certification required
- Competent in basic computer use and comfortable with routine math for measurements and dosages
- Experience performing contrast studies and CT imaging (as indicated in job description)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and contrast study procedures
- Able to operate CT and X-ray equipment with attention to image quality
- Understanding of radiation safety and patient positioning best practices
- Basic computer literacy for imaging software and documentation
- Good patient communication and interpersonal skills
