Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently while following state and federal regulations
• Provide compassionate patient counseling on medications, side effects, and adherence
• Administer vaccinations as authorized and maintain accurate immunization records
• Perform clinical checks for drug interactions, dosing, and allergies to ensure patient safety
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records, documentation, and controlled substance logs
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and store staff to deliver excellent customer service
• Support inventory management and medication stocking to keep the pharmacy running smoothly

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing (required)
• Vaccination certification required at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year current retail-based pharmacy experience (required)
• Comfortable working varied shifts including weekends and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Experience with RX30 is a plus

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred or equivalent pharmacy degree and licensure

Knowledge & Skills

• Retail pharmacy operations and workflow
• Vaccination administration and recordkeeping
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems (RX30 a plus)
• Insurance adjudication basics and prior authorization awareness
• Excellent customer communication and counseling skills
• Medication safety, error prevention, and regulatory compliance
