Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately to patients according to protocol
• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patients during procedures and provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate records of radiopharmaceutical dosages, imaging results, and patient interactions
• Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with physicians and the imaging team to support timely, effective diagnoses

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of Nuclear Medicine experience (6 months+ required as stated)
• Experience with radiopharmaceutical administration and imaging technology operation
• NIHSS certification (listed as required)
• Must provide complete work history and permanent address at time of profile submission
• All compliance documents must be submitted one week prior to start
• RTO (return-to-work/availability) must be provided at time of submission (facility will not approve scheduling requests after offer)

Education

• Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program or equivalent (state licensure/certification where applicable)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiopharmaceutical handling
• Proficiency operating imaging equipment and troubleshooting basic technical issues
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Understanding of radiation safety principles and documentation requirements
• Ability to follow protocols and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
