Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images that guide patient care
• Review and assess image quality and repeat scans as needed to ensure diagnostic value
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results and communicate a clear summary to physicians
• Promptly alert physicians to urgent findings that require immediate attention
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow compliance requirements before starting
• Collaborate with the care team to support patient flow and timely diagnosis

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification required (active copies preferred)
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Oklahoma state license required; compact license allowed
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience as noted in submission requirements
• All compliance documents must be submitted one week prior to starting
• NIHSS certification is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ultrasound imaging equipment operation and maintenance
• Strong image quality assessment and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to recognize and differentiate normal versus abnormal findings
• Clear, concise communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with clinical documentation and compliance expectations
• Comfort working in a busy regional hospital setting
