Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, patient-centered dispensing of prescription medications in a retail Medical Office Building pharmacy.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects and adherence to promote positive outcomes.
• Collaborate with prescribers and the care team to ensure safe, effective medication therapy.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness and potential interactions.
• Manage inventory and ensure medications are stored and handled in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain documentation, support quality and regulatory compliance, and participate in pharmacy safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current, active Pharmacist license in the State of Wisconsin (required).
• Experience in retail pharmacy preferred; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills.
• Basic immunization certification preferred or willingness to obtain as required by employer.
• Ability to work assigned weekday shifts and participate in Saturday morning rotation.

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
• Familiarity with medication safety checks and drug interaction screening.
• Comfortable using pharmacy management systems and electronic health records.
• Customer-focused mindset and the ability to explain complex medication information clearly.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and reliability.
