Roles & Responsibilities

• Obtain high-quality radiographic images for the radiologist and care team
• Assist the radiologist during imaging procedures to ensure patient safety and procedural success
• Provide clear, compassionate education to patients about procedures and expectations
• Present imaging results to providers to facilitate timely clinical decisions
• Maintain equipment and imaging areas to meet safety and quality standards
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the radiology department and patient care

Qualifications

• Current, valid ARRT registration in good standing
• Current, valid Wyoming Radiologic Technologist license in good standing
• BLS certification current or must obtain within 60 days of hire
• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program
• Previous hospital experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiographic imaging and image acquisition expertise
• Patient care and education with empathy and professionalism
• Ability to assist radiologists with a variety of radiologic procedures
• Excellent organization, time management and problem solving
• Comfort learning new computer software and protecting confidential information
• Ethical and legal accountability in all clinical duties
