Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic sleep studies and titrations for adults and pediatrics with attention to high-quality PSG scoring
- Operate and troubleshoot Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP units during studies
- Monitor cardiorespiratory and neurophysiologic signals including ECG, EEG, end-tidal CO2, and oxygen saturation
- Provide patient education on equipment, procedures, mask fitting, and infection control best practices
- Chart accurately and timely in Epic as required by the facility
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care
Qualifications
- RPSGT or RRT with SDS required
- Current California license required
- BLS required
- Minimum 1 year experience working with both pediatric and adult patients (first-timers accepted)
- Comfortable floating between like units as needed
- Epic charting experience required
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience with Alice 6 G3 software and ResMed CPAP units
- Proficient in PSG staging and scoring, titration, MSLT and pediatric studies
- Familiarity with ASV, BiPAP, CPAP, VPAP and oxygen administration
- Skilled in monitoring ECG, EEG, end-tidal CO2, O2 saturation and PLM
- Mask fitting: full face, nasal mask, nasal pillow
- Strong infection control and patient education skills
