Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, helping with activities of daily living
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning to keep residents comfortable and secure
• Monitor and accurately document vital signs, behaviors, and changes in condition
• Support meal times and hydration needs while respecting individual preferences
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents
• Communicate clearly and professionally with the care team and families
• Participate in care planning and handoffs to ensure continuity of quality care

Qualifications

• Active GNA certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain promptly
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Comfortable working the scheduled day shift and supporting resident care tasks
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, caring approach

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection prevention and safe patient handling practices
• Clear communication and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Respect for resident dignity, confidentiality, and HIPAA principles
