Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, toileting, mobility)
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
• Accurately document care and observations in resident charts or EMR
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection control and safety protocols
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to support care goals

Qualifications

• Current GNA certification (or equivalent) required
• BLS/CPR certification required or willing to obtain upon hire
• Minimum 1 year of direct care experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High School Diploma or GED; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfort and skill in providing ADL assistance
• Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
• Basic charting and familiarity with electronic health records
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
• Clear communication, teamwork, and time management
