Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, competent nursing care to rehab patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
- Assist with mobility, ADLs, and therapeutic activities to support recovery
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and follow facility policies
- Support a safe, clean environment and report any safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid LPN/LVN license in Maryland (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, or skilled nursing preferred (1+ year preferred)
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused with strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility credentialing requirements
Education
- LPN/Vocational Nursing certificate or diploma
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic wound care and restorative nursing skills
- Patient assessment and vitals monitoring
- Experience with EMR/charting systems
- Strong teamwork, time management, and prioritization
- Infection control and safety best practices
