Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality bedside nursing care to assigned residents as an LPN
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
• Assess resident status, report changes to the care team, and escalate concerns promptly
• Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to implement care plans
• Support patient comfort and dignity through compassionate, person-centered care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in shift handoffs

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maryland (required)
• BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Active immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
• Minimum clinical experience preferred but new graduates or transitioning nurses welcome
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-based setting
• Ability to pass background checks and meet workplace health requirements

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and documentation skills
• Basic assessment and charting proficiency
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Comfortable with electronic health record (EHR) charting (or quick learner)
• Time management and prioritization on busy shifts
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong patient advocacy
