Hours per Week: 7.5 hrs per shift (per-diem); full-time equivalent ~37.5-40 hrs/week if converted
Candidate Pay Rate: Competitive pay (rate based on experience; W2 and C2C options available)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) in a respectful, person-centered way
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and fall-prevention measures while encouraging independence
- Document care and observations clearly and promptly to keep the care team informed
- Help create a warm, dignified environment that promotes resident comfort and wellbeing
- Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to keep everyone safe
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to enhance coordinated care
Qualifications
- GNA certification required (or equivalent nursing assistant certification)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- High school diploma or GED (minimum)
- Recent background check, TB test, and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
- Comfortable with resident transfers and basic lifting (assistive devices provided)
- Excellent communication, compassion, and a team-player attitude
- Previous long-term care or assisted living experience is a plus but not mandatory
Education
- High School Diploma or GED; GNA (nursing assistant) certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, toileting and feeding support
- Strong observational skills and accurate documentation
- Infection control and hand hygiene best practices
- Ability to follow care plans and direction from licensed nursing staff
- Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
- Empathy, patience, and clear communication with residents and families
